Obituary


Bradley Joseph Botsch Sr. entered into eternal rest at 3:00 a.m. August 8, 2017, husband of Karen Sue Casey - Botsch and sister, Shari Houle both by his bedside. Brad has been a long time resident of Phoenix, AZ since 1986 relocating from Gary, Indiana after graduating from Purdue University with highest distinction.

Including his wife, Karen and sister, Shari, he is also survived by his children, Andy, Brad Jr, Cristi, Darcy, Gabby, Danielle, twins Sydnee and Syleesha. He is also survived by siblings, Shirley Kauziok, Edward Botsch Jr, twin Bryan Botsch and...

Bradley Joseph Botsch Sr. entered into eternal rest at 3:00 a.m. August 8, 2017, husband of Karen Sue Casey - Botsch and sister, Shari Houle both by his bedside. Brad has been a long time resident of Phoenix, AZ since 1986 relocating from Gary, Indiana after graduating from Purdue University with highest distinction.

Including his wife, Karen and sister, Shari, he is also survived by his children, Andy, Brad Jr, Cristi, Darcy, Gabby, Danielle, twins Sydnee and Syleesha. He is also survived by siblings, Shirley Kauziok, Edward Botsch Jr, twin Bryan Botsch and 3 nieces, Robyn, Kayla, Marissa and 3 nephews, Gregg, Jeff and Brandon. He was predeceased by parents, Edward Botsch, Sr. and and Phyllis Botsch. In addition, he is survived by close loving parental figures, Sal and Espy Lopez and family.

After Brad graduated from Purdue University, he was hired, with Motorola of Chandler, AZ. While being employed at Motorola, he pursued his Masters (MSEE) at Arizona State University from 1987 to 1989. In 1991 he was the chosen applicant among 50 applicants to be awarded a scholarship opportunity to achieve his law degree. In 1994 he received his Juris Doctorate in Patent Law from Arizona State University with Magnum Cum Laude. He pursued a very successful career as a patent attorney with many legal counsel leadership positions at many companies with roles as Vice President, Chief Intellectual Property Officer, Assistant Director, Director of Patent Licensing and Patent Counsel.

Not only successful in his business life he was equally successful with his personal life. He was loved by many for his generosity, compassion and humor. Brad was a shining personality in any private or group setting. God was always important along with his children, family and marriage in his life.

Brad lived life as a celebration as a child and an adult. He was athletic, a triathlete, loved mountain bike climbing, hosting karaoke parties and enjoyed sharing his life with his loving wife. It was often you would find him hosting karaoke parties, doing the moon walk or a Mick Jagger strut. He was liked by every person that met him and known to help persons in need.
