Evangelina Munguia Ramon passed away on August 3rd, 2017, she will be forever missed and her memory will live on through her family.
Evangelina's journey started on June 17, 1947 in Rosenberg, TX. She was the daughter of Manuel and Porfiria Munguia and is the 8th of 13 children.
As migrant farm workers in Queen Creek, AZ, Evangelina met Juan and in time married on January 15th, 1965. Over the years their family grew into 8 children including Ofelia, Mayte, Myrna, Rosie, Connie, Juan Jr., Adam and is preceded in death by her...

Evangelina Munguia Ramon passed away on August 3rd, 2017, she will be forever missed and her memory will live on through her family.
Evangelina's journey started on June 17, 1947 in Rosenberg, TX. She was the daughter of Manuel and Porfiria Munguia and is the 8th of 13 children.
As migrant farm workers in Queen Creek, AZ, Evangelina met Juan and in time married on January 15th, 1965. Over the years their family grew into 8 children including Ofelia, Mayte, Myrna, Rosie, Connie, Juan Jr., Adam and is preceded in death by her son Ramon, siblings Trinidad, Ofelia, Teresa and Julio. In addition to her children, she was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and is also survived by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Evangelina devoted her life to caring for her family and others as she was a CNA for over 30 yrs. She contributed her time to the migrant head start program, as well as various Catholic charities and programs through Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She loved cooking for her family and was known as the "best tortilla maker" to her grandchildren.
Her journey will come to an end on August 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Queen Creek, AZ with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. and will be laid to rest at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery in Chandler, AZ.
