Louis A. Bariola, 85, of Chandler, AZ, peacefully passed away in Mesa, Arizona on December 23, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, one daughter, Karen Gieske, son-in-law Glen Gieske, and four grandchildren, Ann Gieske, Kathy Gieske, Alan Gieske, and Katie Bariola. Louis graduated from Lake Village, AR High School in 1950 as Valedictorian of his class. He received his Bachelor and Masters Degrees at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, in 1962 and his PhD in Entomology from Texas A&M University in 1969. He worked as a Research Entomologist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture until his retirement in 1989. His favorite past time was spending time with his Grandchildren with whom he and his wife Bonnie traveled extensively. He was also an avid golfer.

In lieu of flowers, it is the family's wish that friends and loved ones make a donation to their own favorite charity in honor of Louis.
